"this is no place for a miserable child, sent from above to a world where it's gone wild"
life circumstances have caused me to identify as nonhuman since I was a child. I always identified not only with nonhuman concepts like animals and toys, but also with the strange, weird and horrific. I often identified myself with prey animals specifically and had a fascination with bones and horror stories.
growing up on tumblr as a teenager made knowing what to do with this part of my identity very difficult. I lost some friends for choosing to start to identify as fictionkin and otherkin, and was also exposed to a huge amount of drama and gatekeeping online. now, as an adult, I have come much more to terms with myself and this aspect of my identity. it is apart of who I am, my experiences, and how I experience the world.
the identities listed below are all some part of my life and self, on varying levels from relatabilty to truly believing it to be me. I prefer not to go into details for each one as it can become very intimate, but all are very important to me.
